Escarpement East of Paddy Green Road 20120919

Another set of Maitake, this time much lighter, smaller and less densely packed




A bunch of Mica Cap (Coprinus micaceus) in early stages.


 Some really nice examples of Turkey Tail Polypore (Trametes versicolor):


 The large numbers of Honey Mushrooms (Armillaria Mellea)of the what I call "Golden variety, still in early stages, but buggy, as usual.


 As always, the good ones you find only single - Orange Bolete (probably Leccinum Insigne - does not stain dramatically)

 Psathyreall piluliformis, common thing around here:

Found several maitakes - smaller and lighter in color:
